Halloween!

My sister stayed with me for a couple weeks and we worked on these costumes in our spare time! Laura worked on this Astrid costume and I made my Winter Soldier arm! What did you guys dress up as for Halloween?

Just a quick update. I've been working on getting all my work ready for a review at school. If I don't pass it's... well, not good. Anyways, my sister came to stay with me last week for a few days and we decided to carve pumpkins! We watched the first few Harry Potter movies and decided to do our house crests for our pumpkin designs (mine being Slytherin and Laura's Gryffindor). Anyways, just thought I'd post these 'cause we had fun doing them.

I realize it's a wee bit late for a Halloween post, but I still had to show y'all my costume! I'm a huge fan of the anime Fairy Tail and I've always wanted to cosplay as the character Erza Scarlet. Aside from being a redhead, she's actually pretty awesome and usually wears a variety of armor. Since I don't actually own any armor (yet) I went with her street clothes. Believe it or not, I actually straightened my hair for this, but as soon as I put the hair dye in my hair just got all weird and sort-of-curly :p oh well! It was either straight and ginger or weirdly curly and red...it was for a Halloween party, so I'm glad I went with the red hair dye :p Anyways, if you haven't watched Fairy Tail...do it. It's great. And the subs are way better than the dubs, just so ya know.

Well, hope you had a great Halloween...two weeks ago, haha. I don't know about you, but I'm actually really excited about the holidays. I bought a bunch of candles and my house smells like pine needles now :) So, even though it's really early, I'm thinking I might put my Christmas tree up this weekend! Maybe it's because of the snow we had today, or maybe I'm just looking forward to Christmas break! Can't wait for the end of the semester!

Help! My Blog's Been Commandeered!

So I went thrifting with my friend, Paul, a few weeks ago and we took pictures of his Halloween costume for a blog post! I gave him complete freedom with the following post...

Hello everybody! My name is Paul, and I’m the one in all of these pictures that you see above. Rebekah decided to give me full reign on writing the dialogue to this post (bad idea on her part)!  But let’s face it; if it was Rebekah writing this post, she would probably be talking something along the lines of “I’m feeling this creative today, blah blah blah school, blah blah something about art/my camera.”  I think that sounds about right… what do you guys think? Anyway, the reason why I’m on this blog is because I went thrifting/shopping with Rebekah for a ship captain’s costume for a murder mystery party. Now for the 2 guys that are out there reading this post, take note that if you plan on going shopping for clothes, it’s a good idea to take a female friend along with you! First, it’s always good to go with someone else to make sure that you look good in what you buy, and second, if you’re trying to impress girls with your clothes, it’s probably good to have one make sure you look good! 

Anyway, the murder mystery party was great! If you've never been to one before, the idea behind the party is to become different characters for the night, have somebody “die”, and then the group needs to find out who the killer is! I would greatly encourage people to do it, because it’s a lot of fun (unlike Rebekah, who has no life or soul)!  I think the big thing that made it a lot of fun was the fact that it was very relaxed compared to a normal party. This would keep the extroverts happy because they can be around people and the introverts happy because it’s not overwhelming to them.

Alright, I know that I’d love to stay and spice up this blog more, but it’s not mine, nor is it my cup of tea (maybe it would be if it was chai; chai’s pretty solid), so I shall hand the reigns over to the evil, soulless vessel of a woman that is Rebekah. Maybe I’ll be on here some other time; that is if she hasn't killed me over the things that I've written! It was lovely to… er, um… meet(?) you all, and I hope that you all have a wonderful day!
