Busy weekend. Not much to say. The day these photos were taken I think I went to the flea market and maybe an auction.

Adventures in Old Town

Dress - JCPenney // Necklace - Modcloth // Shoes - Walmart

Can you believe these shoes are from Walmart? I love them! That aside, when I thought about it, I spend a lot of time in Florida. Almost an entire month out of the year. Sadly, when I graduate, I'll probably not be able to go down there as much.

Anyways, on a quest to find a mug (I'm not joking about that...but more on that later....), we ended up in Old Town in Orlando. Such a cute place! Yeah, it rained a little, but it was warm, so it was alright. The shops there were fantastic! There was a shop just filled with anime paraphernalia--I know my sister would be jealous. And  really cool haunted house (but it wasn't open until dark). There were also amusement park rides, but we didn't really care about going on them. Oh, and a magic shop! There was a show every few hours and the one we went to was great! The magician was very charismatic and entertaining.

So yeah, one reason we went was to find a mug with my family's crest on it. My dad has one and I wanted to add one to my ever growing collection of mugs (I think that I have maybe....100 mugs?). Turns out, the mug store moved somewhere else...inside a theme park, so we couldn't get in. Oh well, At least the magic show ended up being fun!

St. Augustine

Dress - Forever21 (Thrifted) // Necklace & Shoes - Modcloth

I remember going to St. Augustine as a kid, but it must've been when I was in elementary school! So it's been awhile. The city was absolutely beautiful! Fun fact--St. Augustine claims to be the oldest city in the US. And this schoolhouse, the location of many of these pictures, also claims to be the oldest wooden schoolhouse in the US!

It rained most of the day, but it was still fun. My hair, clearly, got a little messed up, thanks to the rain. Because my camera is water sealed, I wasn't too worried. But we did eventually stop to get ponchos. At one point a few tourists were very concerned about my camera, but I explained to them it was built work in the rain (Pentax K-30, if you're interested!).

Both statue pictures always makes me think of Doctor Who. Gosh, I haven't watched that show in so long! Not since Matt Smith left the show.

The last picture makes me think of Narnia a little. You know, the White Witch's castle where the courtyard is filled with stone animals? I was glad I had my camera with me when we drove by this time. Every time I ended up near that place I never seemed to have my camera! But yeah, kind of creepy :)

Christmas in January

Dress - Modcloth // Belt - Thrifted // Shoes - Walmart

Well, it's neither Christmas nor January, but these are pictures of the 4th of July that I'm posting in February, so kind of the same thing. I find it kind of weird that I'm posting pictures of Summer during the Winter, but it makes me very excited about the snow melting! It's not like I can complain about the weather though--it was 50 today! The cold makes me very irritated, so it's great that Ohio's had such a mild winter.

It's weird to think that this is my last semester. I always associate February with very cold walks to class, but this time next year I will (hopefully) have graduated and won't be in class at all! Seeing my portfolio coming together is great, and I can't wait for it to be done! Once more projects are complete I plan to post some on here!

Dreaming of Spring

Dress - ModCloth // Shoes - Payless // Belt - Thrifted

It's supposed to be almost 60 tomorrow! This mild winter has been great and I just can't wait for spring. These pictures are actually from Mother's Day last year. It's always been a tradition to go up to the lake, get hot dogs, and play mini golf.

Art School Angles

So I have close to a year of photos to go through and post now. For awhile I thought I'd stop blogging altogether and just eventually either post a "goodbye" post or a last post or something, but for some reason I decided to pick it back up again. I'll stick with it as long as I'm having fun!

These are old. Almost a year old I think. I still love this dress though--and this outfit. My friend, Dominic, took these outside Myers School of Art.
