DC

Skirt - Modcloth // Shirt - Merona // Cardigan - JCPenney // Shoes - Rocket Dog // Tights - Walmart // Necklace - Modcloth

What's sleep? It's finals week and sleep is something I'm looking forward to when this is all over.

Anyways, here are a few more pictures from the trip I took to Virginia. This is from the day we went to DC. We started out by going to the National Archives (which is the reason we decided to watch National Treasure when we got home that evening). After that we split up and three of my siblings (Laura, C, and M) went with me. We ended up going through several museums. Then we got a snack and sat on a bench in the mall to people watch. I found out later that in the same amount of time, the rest of my family only went to one museum--and that's why I'm so glad we divided into groups.

I'll leave you guys with these last two pictures from the Natural History Museum's gift shop. C's expression is just amazing and I think I look like I have a brain slug (Futurama) on my head.

Last DC Pictures I (sort of) Promise!

Yeah, that looks real. (it was under construction).  Anyways, I was too tired last night to blog...and I just got back from playing paintball so I'm tired again. But, that won't stop me from blogging! But it may shorten my writing a little bit...

Our hotel room. Yes, we stayed in the Ritz-Carlton.

The sign's a little cut off...it says "Please Keep Off" Gotta love that bird!

We were thirsty and this shop, Pret A Manger, happened to be right in front of us when we got off the metro. And it was like all natural everything. Even pop! It basically tasted like carbonated orange juice and rather unlike Sunkist. But it was good.

Well, this is pretty self-explanatory. But yeah, that tree is a fighter.

It was so cool 'cause all these fabric designs had proverbs that inspired them. Of course I don't remember any of them.

Your inspirational quote of the day.

There's gonna be a lot of pictures of the cars.

Oh, that 1950 Studebaker

I wanted to disregard that sign...

There's no place like home... Yes, those are Dorothy's shoes

It's not easy being green

I was just playing around with the camera...and this happened.

Saturday night we stayed with some friends' of Sarah's. They live on some beautiful property!

So Much To See (DC Day 3)

So I had no internet the past few days and that's why I didn't get the last set of DC photos up. I'm hoping to do one more post after this with some random DC photos and stories. And then I'll get back to regular outfit posts. This post will mostly be pictures just 'cause I got home very late last night and I've got a ton to do today. And I'm super tired. Hope you enjoy these 'til I'm all rested and ready to get back into the swing of things!

National Museum of Natural History

I thought this rock looked like a muppet...eating the muppaphone

Night at the Museum?

Oh yes...look at all those shells!

I was this close to a 1950 Studebaker!!!

Just look at it...it's gorgeous

It's not like I didn't have enough pictures like this, but it looked cool in the mist.

A 4 story mall...4 stories. It was like heaven.

WOO!!! JOHNNY ROCKETS!!!

Jefferson Memorial

It rained...obviously...

Well, that's it for today! As I said before, I hope to get back into regular outfit posts this week!
