Night Ship Jewelry

Well, it finally happened. Two things, actually. First, University of Akron finally closed because of low temperatures! I was very unhappy that I had to go to class yesterday because of the cold. But, on the other hand, was very happy to find a bunch of articles in the news today about how ridiculous it was for Akron to have stayed open yesterday considering the low temperatures.

The second thing is that I finally opened an Etsy shop! I've been making jewelry for years, but kept putting off opening a shop. You can check out the newly opened Night Ship Jewelry here! I mostly sell beaded jewelry, but I'm hoping to put some of my metal stamped stuff up soon.

So guess what, school wasn't cancelled. Even though basically every other school was. That's Akron for you. I didn't plan an outfit because I was so sure they'd cancel at the last minute. It was so cold that I just threw on a bunch layers without really thinking about it. So this is my equivalent to throwing on leggings before running out the door.

I'm really hoping they cancel school tomorrow. It's supposed to be below zero. On a completely different note, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who've been commenting! IntenseDebate isn't working anymore and for some reason my computer rarely lets me comment on blogs (like I'll write them out but they never show up...). Anyways, I am reading them, but it's just really difficult to respond.

You know what's nice about holidays (besides food)? Easy post titles. My family's always done a big, rather quirky, family party on Valentines Day. This year, however, we had a more romantic theme. Whatever, as long as I get chocolate. Doesn't my mom look cute though? I found her that dress during a Modcloth sale!

I'm so tired right now. I ended up being at school for 11 hours yesterday and was so busy all day that I didn't even have time to take photos. It was a really cool day, but I'll write about it later 'cause I need sleep.
