Dress - Skies are Blue (Ruche) // Cardigan - Cotton On (Thrifted) // Shoes - City Classified (Ruche) // Tights- George
It's been so long since I've had nice photos! Thanks to Laura, my sister for taking these. I wish I could do this more, but it's just not practical. This has to be one of my favorite dresses and it's on sale right now!

Walking back from class the other day I overheard a conversation between the two girls behind me. They were talking about how funny it is to see people tripping. At least they were walking behind the right person because, yes, I did eventually trip.
A new memory card...if only it were that easily. Sometimes I feel like my brain's memory is completely full 'cause I can remember random things like song lyrics and quotes from...well, everything. But when it comes to basically anything else (especially new things!) I'm essentially useless. I could sing the you entire theme song for The Muppet Show right now (and a lot of other shows, sadly)...but I could not tell you what day of the week it is or all the other stuff that I can't remember right now! For the record, I'm pretty sure it's Friday. But then again I was convinced it was Friday back on what I think was actually Wednesday. No, it was really funny. One of my instructors said we had an assignment due Friday and I was like today? It can't be due today! the instructor then reminded me that it was only Wednesday... yeah, that took a few minutes to sink in.
Part of my bad memory might be due to excessive daydreaming. Hey, I get lost in my mind palace sometimes. And if you get that reference (Sherlock) you, my friend, are awesome. Then, if Sherlock has a mind palace, I must have a mind bungalow.*
So basically...my mind needs a new memory card. :p It's not like I'm not trying either! I'm working so hard to remember things. Right now I've been using the notepad on my cellphone to write myself little notes throughout the day. Wow, that is really helping! You know how I've said that sometimes I have a good idea for a blog post in the middle of the day, but by the time I'm ready to write that idea is gone? Well, this idea I wrote down in the morning and now I actually remembered to write it! So ironically, I remembered to write a post about my bad memory. Ha.
Btw watch this.
It's hilarious. Gosh, I love Roberto--probably one of my favorite Futurama characters.
*Yes, mom. You get full credit for mind bungalow....

I'm a little disappointed summer's over, but I do love fall! Especially because of layering! So I realized that as long as I have decent lighting, this front hall actually does make a great place for pictures. The ones I took today (not these...) actually turned out pretty cool! ...which is totally awesome 'cause it's getting cold outside.

This post is just scheduled... so there's no evidence that I actually made it through an entire week of camp. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow(ish) ready(ish) with some great camp stories and pictures. If not...well, this is my last scheduled post :p
Dress - Pink Owl (via Modcloth) // Shirt - Faded Glory // Belt - Cotton On // Shoes - Maurices
Honestly....I hate the way these pictures turned out. But, I love this dress (it's my first one from Modcloth!) so I wanted to post these anyways. Actually, I do like the last picture...but I'm not even in it :p Gosh I already miss Rachel taking my pictures!
Anyways, don't you just love the awesome things kids say? My siblings all have great imaginations and it's so funny to listen to them. They like to play princes and princesses, little house on the prairie, questing for dragons, and tons of fun stuff! Anyways, we were on a long car ride and I stopped talking with my mom long enough to hear my 8-year-old sister, N, say to another sibling, "Can you go faster than an angry donut?"
Now, I have no idea how the conversation got there. How is this donut propelling itself? And why is it angry? Ah, the things little kids say. I thought it sounded like something that might be in Adventure Time, but they don't even watch that show! Anyways, I thought it was funny!
Oh, and one last thing. Do you remember the FBI costume pictures from the 4th of July post? Well, when my siblings were playing FBI I overheard Laura asking A (one of my Ukrainian siblings who doesn't speak much English yet) if he had an alibi. Since A doesn't know what an alibi is he starts looking through his pockets for one! Do you have any funny stories from your siblings, kids, cousins?

I wasn't lying when I said I was going to start a series of lame post titles. Honestly, it makes life so much easier. Instead of stressing all day about what I'm going to title my blog post (sarcasm), I just write some random crap and pass it off as a title. It's awesome, funny (to me at least), and such a time saver.
On to other random stuff. We went to check out the farmer's market in Geneva today....in my mom's own words it was "underwhelming." Yeah, there was some cool stuff there. But not really enough to make us want to go back or even really buy anything. Kind of sad. I hope it gets better, 'cause it would be great to have a farmer's market so close! I mean there was only one tent, and even that wasn't really even filled up. Anyways, I hope to go back eventually and see if it's improved at all.
And guess who drove to the farmer's market? No, not me. I mean that really wouldn't be too surprising. My little sister drove! It was terrifying to be in the backseat of the car realizing that a 16-year-old was behind the wheel of a several ton vehicle! Just kidding, she's a great driver. I mean, yeah, it's still weird that she was the one driving. But, she did a wonderful job.

Wow, I know I'm white, but I look seriously ghostly in these pictures! I guess that's what I get for rockin' SPF 90 (So sad I couldn't find a YouTube video of this 'cause the sunscreen thing's a Cougar Town quote...although I really do wear sunscreen 24/7).
So I know this outfit is very similar to one I wore earlier this week...but technically it was last month now that I think of it. And, I even wore something similar on Wednesday when I wasn't feeling too creative. Obviously I love this dress! Funny, I bought it last year and I never wore it. Not once. And now I can't stop wearing it! Good thing I didn't get rid of it when I was organizing my closet.
Anyways, today I went to some more antique stores with my relatives today! First we stopped by this co-op filled with individually owned booths. And...I found a ton of vintage advertisements again! At first I wondered why I found the advertisements so fascinating, but since I'm majoring in graphic design it actually makes sense. I need to stop buying vintage advertisements though, but I just love them! I really hope I get the job I'm interviewing for tomorrow 'cause I really really need money now. Then we stopped by the Miscellaneous Barn for a little bit. There are a ton of buildings there and it's so fun to just wander around! If you live in the Cleveland area, you should check it out!
Well, that's it for today! Thanks for reading! Hope y'all have a great day!
