Well.....I had an interesting day today. Classes went well, but after I got home I apparently left my car lights on. Anyways, my car battery died :( and the car jump thing I have was dead too. I eventually just had AAA come out and start my car. By that time I was an hour and 20 minutes late to Navs (Akron Navs is the Bible study I go to Wednesday nights), but I decided to go to the meeting anyways! After all that time I spent waiting for the car to get fixed I wasn't just going to stay home! It worked out anyways because I ended up going to Kent Navs after our meeting

So, today's outfit was inspired by this Nikki Reed outfit in this College Fashion post. As soon as I saw this I immediately fell in love with the outfit! It's so me! My too favorite clothing items--blazers and combat boots!

Cleveland Gray

Hey, everyone! I'm so excited for my first outfit post! Today's outfit was inspired by the city of Cleveland.  Two reasons--I grew up near Cleveland and I love blacks and grays.

Shirt - Body Central // Cardigan - Old Navy (thrifted) // Jeans - Buffalo Jeans // Boots - L.e.i. // Rings - Thrifted // Earrings - Forever 21

I've been dying to wear this shirt because it combines two trends I've never tried before--sheer fabric and a hi-lo hem. On top of that there's a cityscape printed on the front, even though it's New York instead of Cleveland. It's a sleeveless shirt so I picked a black cardigan to go over top because it's still ridiculously cold here! To keep with the feel of a gloomy city I went with gray jeans instead of blue jeans. I do have a turquoise ring and blue rose earrings on to add color, but you can't quite see them in the picture. Don't worry, I wear the ring almost everyday and the earrings a lot so I'll eventually get a better picture of them. To finish I chose my short, black combat boots. I have tall combat boots as well but I haven't worn the short boots in so long that I decided to go with the short boots. Unfortunately, I have about a 15 minute walk in between my classes and these shoes are a little tight. But, they were on clearance so I couldn't pass them up!

Tuesdays and Thursdays are long days at school for me with long walks in the frigid outdoors, but this outfit was still really comfy and warm! I can't wait for the weather to warm up though 'cause I'm just dying to wear my lighter jackets and sandals!

Keep warm and keep reading!
