The Week Before . . .

Skirt - Charlotte Russe // Shirt - J. Crew (Thrifted) // Cardigan - H & M // Socks - Target // Shoes - Payless

I tell you what. Finals week ain't got nothing on the week before finals. It's so much crazier and there's just so much more to do. But I did it! Finished my last class for the semester! I still have to go in for two finals next week and turn some stuff in, but other than that . . . I am very much done. You know what my favorite part of being done is? Not setting my alarm for tomorrow. NOT SETTING AN ALARM. People, I do not have to get up tomorrow. And most likely won't be.

Welp, in celebration of the end of the semester I am going to Netflix binge for a bit. Oh! And I'll probably waste a bit of time on Pinterest. I . . I can't believe I've avoided Pinterest for so many years. It's awesome! The amount of homework I was avoiding may have contributed to an increased interest in Pinterest. But still, I think it's pretty cool!

Anyways, if any of you have finals soon, I hope they go well! Have a great weekend!

I wore this during spring break last week. I really wasn't expecting to go anywhere, so I really didn't put any thought into this outfit. So...this is what I look like when I just throw something on in the morning! Honestly though, I think it's way cuter than my outfits during midterms week. And I did put some thought into those...but I was really going for comfort and warmth! Anyways, as I write this I'm watching The Sound of Music. I haven't watching this movie in forever! I don't usually like musicals or girly movies, but I make an exception occasionally :)

So, there are a lot of blogs that I started following just because I liked the style and the pictures, but I just recently started reading the actual text. Before I started blogging I wasn't as interested in the reading, but now I really enjoy it--it's like getting to know the bloggers! Well this made me realize that I have a lot of improvement to do on the writing of my blog. I feel like the photos are getting better, but I'm not happy with the writing yet. So here's where I need your help. What do you like about the writing in your favorite blogs? What do you like about the writing in my blog and what could be improved? And what would you like me to write about?

Cleveland Gray

Hey, everyone! I'm so excited for my first outfit post! Today's outfit was inspired by the city of Cleveland.  Two reasons--I grew up near Cleveland and I love blacks and grays.

Shirt - Body Central // Cardigan - Old Navy (thrifted) // Jeans - Buffalo Jeans // Boots - L.e.i. // Rings - Thrifted // Earrings - Forever 21

I've been dying to wear this shirt because it combines two trends I've never tried before--sheer fabric and a hi-lo hem. On top of that there's a cityscape printed on the front, even though it's New York instead of Cleveland. It's a sleeveless shirt so I picked a black cardigan to go over top because it's still ridiculously cold here! To keep with the feel of a gloomy city I went with gray jeans instead of blue jeans. I do have a turquoise ring and blue rose earrings on to add color, but you can't quite see them in the picture. Don't worry, I wear the ring almost everyday and the earrings a lot so I'll eventually get a better picture of them. To finish I chose my short, black combat boots. I have tall combat boots as well but I haven't worn the short boots in so long that I decided to go with the short boots. Unfortunately, I have about a 15 minute walk in between my classes and these shoes are a little tight. But, they were on clearance so I couldn't pass them up!

Tuesdays and Thursdays are long days at school for me with long walks in the frigid outdoors, but this outfit was still really comfy and warm! I can't wait for the weather to warm up though 'cause I'm just dying to wear my lighter jackets and sandals!

Keep warm and keep reading!
