I'm Not Here Right Now

Dress - H&M (Thrifted) // Vest - Thrifted // Shoes - Thrifted // Socks - Marc's // Necklace - Forever21

It's true. I'm not actually here right now. Well, I'm not there. In Ohio, that is. After driving all stinkin' day yesterday (no, really--I actually did most of the driving) I am finally in Florida! (Yet another reason for me to hurry up and finish posting old pictures.)

Anyways, these pictures are from my brother's birthday (waaaay back in May) and he had a medieval theme for his birthday. So I kind of went with a medieval-ish look for my outfit that day.

Too Much

Shirt - a.n.a // Skirt - H&M (Thrifted) // Cardigan - Mossimo (Thrifted)  // Belt and Shoes - Body Central

I've gone through my closet several times over the last few months and I've gotten rid of so much stuff and yet there's still so much left! I've been taking my unwanted clothes to a mission nearby so I'm glad that at least they'll be put to good use. Still it makes me think--even after removing excess I still have excess. And it's kind of disgusting really. But it does make me be thankful for what I have.

Summer Plans

Dress - H&M (Thrifted) // Belt - Cato's // Necklace - Pat Catan's // Tights - Walmart // Shoes - Refresh // Ring - Thrifted

Believe it or not I'm still working on Spring cleaning. Last week it was warm and I had time to clean . . . and now there's a random snow storm. I do not feel like doing anything. Or anything besides curling up under a blanket with a heater, a cat, hot chocolate, and Netflix. Strangely I've actually been fairly productive today. Been working on finding a summer job. Maybe if I get one out in Akron I can keep working there through next semester. Although . . . I would love to get a job in Geneva-on-the-Lake since it's such a kitschy, but cute place.

Oh! I did actually have a job this past semester. I don't think I really talked about it here. Anyways, I taught Akron After School programs at a few different school in Akron. So for a few months I was a Kitchen Art Teacher. The program ended for the semester (just in time for finals too!) and now I need to find something for this summer! Because I have . . . no money.

Well, I'm happy to make summer plans especially 'cause it's so dang cold and nasty outside :( Hope the weather's better you all are!

Science!

Skirt - H&M (Thrifted) // Shirt - St. John's Bay (Thrifted) // Vest-  Thrifted // Shoes - Restricted Betsy

Since it was both my dad's birthday and Father's Day, we went to the Great Lakes Science Center. Sadly we didn't get to see the Titanic exhibit because all the tickets were sold out! AHH!!!! Oh well, I guess we'll go back at some point this summer :/ The best part though was going to see the steamship, William G. Mather. I don't really have anything more to say today, so I'll just leave you with some pictures of the steamship and a few others. (PS....WOO!! Good pictures are back! Sorry about my camera troubles the past few days. I really need to stop posting if the quality's not my best :/ )

Yes. This happened. Catherine and I got super bored 'cause...well it's not that big of a museum and we'd been in there like 3-4 hours already. One of my other sisters kind of photobombed the picture too--you can see her head right underneath the lollipop!
