Day two of no heat hair.... not sure what I think. I'm gonna let it go until the next time I need to wash it, but after that I'm not sure whether I'll go back to flat ironing it or not. And I feel like it makes my face look....weird. It's not like the flat ironing takes a lot of time. I just do about 3-5 minutes the first day and then occasional touch ups throughout the week. I feel like I spent more time this morning just trying to get my hair to curl in one stubborn spot than I do flat ironing my hair. It's frustrating when it curls so nicely in some places. But only some places...gosh my hair is weird.

Well today was the last day of most of my classes--only one more class tomorrow!! And I don't really have a whole lot of finals work to do, thank goodness! Finals week last semester was horrible! And I was not looking forward to pulling 7 all-nighters.... again. But, it looks like I have everything in order this semester. Yay! I'm so happy right now. One more week 'til summer break and it's finally warm!!! I'm really excited that next semester I will have all classes that relate to my major!

Oh, and I have wedges on today! Well, more importantly, sandals. I realized that this is the first time I've worn sandals this year! It was weird, but awesome at the same time! Yes, I did my bible reading and exercise today--I'm on a roll. And...I got distracted for awhile 'cause I had to google the origin of the phrase on a roll. Haha, I'm so easily distracted! Well, hope y'all have a splendid day--thanks for reading!

I feel like I stole some of these poses from Someone Like You...but really I have no idea what I'm doing and I gotta get inspiration somewhere. You could say I was Finding my Inspiration. Haha ...see what I did there...

So, I'm still watching Supernatural, but at the moment I'm totally obsessed with Monk! I love how smart he is ...and how OCD he is! My favorite thing is how he has to wash his hands any time he shakes hands with someone. ...I may or may not keep hand sanitizer on me at all times for the same reason. Someone just said mentioned toast on Monk...I'm jonesing for some toast right now. brb.

So...what do you think? I took these pictures! I don't think they're incredible, but I'm actually really happy with them! And I'm surprised they came out this well! Yeah and don't mind my awesome yard...it needs work. A lot of work. Hopefully I'll get it looking nice over the summer!

Anyways, I'm kind of hoping to use this blog as a way to keep me accountable. Primarily in two ways: Bible reading and exercising  So, before I blog I have to do both. Today? Yup, I did both. If I fail to mention doing either in future posts....please yell at me. And yes, mom, ('cause I know sometimes you read this) I actually exercised! Of course there's still the problem with the way I eat...but ya know, one step at a time!

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

So yeah, I didn't actually go spelunking. But, I did take a tour of Skyline Caverns...so close enough :p I would love to go spelunking for real sometime though--it sounds super fun! Even the word is just fun to say... Anyways, yes we went on a tour of Skyline Caverns today! And, for me at least, it was the highlight of the trip! The cave was just so beautiful! I don't think words or the terrible pictures I took do it justice! I wish the tour wasn't so short...even though it was an hour long. I could have spent all day in that cave! Preferably with a better camera.

The stories of the cave were really interesting as well. The cave wasn't just discovered accidentally, Walter S. Amos was commissioned to find a cave that would bring in more tourists once Skyline Drive opened up. When he finally found the cave that eventually became Skyline Caverns, he also discovered rooms full of anthodite crystals! As I've said before it's beautiful--there have even been a lot of weddings inside! And of course I thought, Wow, it would be super cool to get married in this cave! Oh, another cool fact is that there's one stalactite that the public is allowed to touch and, at least according to the tour guide, it has been touched by Clint Eastwood, Bing Crosby, and Stephen King! Pretty cool, right :)

Anyways, after exploring Skyline Caverns we drove for a very long time on Skyline Drive--which was, of course, beautiful--and we stopped briefly to hike to Dark Hollow Falls. Isn't that the coolest name? My dad originally wanted to hike 6 miles, lowered it to 3, and then finally to a little over a mile. I love hiking, but he hikes like he's in a race...and I like to stop look at everything! I'm so glad we only hiked a mile because even after that we were all so tired! But, it was a gorgeous waterfall :)

Soooo sad it's my last day here! I really don't want to go back to school! But, I guess I've only got a few more weeks left. Which means I really gotta start applying for a summer job...

Well, I hope your day is fantastic! And visit Lipgloss and Crayons for #YOLOMONDAYS linkup!

I'm sitting outside on the back porch of our condo just thinking about how much I love the sound of the air conditioner. And...now that I think about it the sound itself is actually really annoying, but I associate it with summer and heat so the sound just makes me happy!

So, it's the hottest day of the week and I'm super excited to wear a tank top! I've been looking for a tribal print tank top for a long time and it was awesome to finally find this one at a thrift store! On another note I'm not happy to be wearing boots...even if they do look awesome with this outfit... We went hiking today and those are the best shoes I have for wilderness exploration. Why we went hiking instead of swimming on the hottest day of the week I'll never know...but it may have something to do with my mom not wanting to go during a slight drizzle because her hair might frizz. She claims she's a country girl, but I know there's a city girl in there just dying to get out.

We had a great time hiking though...even if we went farther than I thought we would. I was under the impression that we wouldn't hike that far because I have so many younger siblings. But apparently they have more endurance than me. I was done after the first mile...but no, we had to go 5 more miles... At least the walk was beautiful. Laura wasn't with me the entire time, so I tried to teach my 8-year-old sister, Natalie, to use my cell phone camera. I'm actually surprised with how well the pictures came out! I think she did a wonderful job! The rest of the hike she kept pointing out good places to take pictures. :) It was funny though when I tried to teach her the difference between portrait and landscape...she kept saying "lambskate." Oh, it was so cute!

I can't believe this vacation is almost half over! Anyways, I hope your day is fantastic! Don't forget to follow, and like Finding Inspiration on Facebook!
