But it's Still Warm?
Shirt - Body Central // Skirt - Talbots (Thrifted) // Shoes - Faded Glory
Well hey, I guess I had a few pictures left over from the summer. Figured I'd post them before it got too cold. ...although, I guess it's been pretty warm lately. Anyways, good news! I passed my foundation review on Monday! I'm so happy that's over with! Just so you know, Foundation Review is where a panel of the school's instructors look over specific work from a few different classes and decide whether or not you can continue in your major. So yeah...kind of important. I got some good constructive criticism too, so it was definitely a valuable experience. But I'm definitely glad I don't have to worry about it anymore!

Another Birthday?
Shirt - Arizona Jeans // Skirt - Talbots // Shoes - Maurices // Hat - Charlotte Russe // Suitcase - Vintage Earhart Wallstreeter
So today is my sister Laura's birthday! She just turned 16! You can check out her blog here! Because another birthday's tomorrow we celebrated her birthday on Tuesday. Wow, we had a chocolate glazed oreo cake ...and it was amazing. Unfortunately I don't seem to have a picture of the cake...but trust me it was simply delicious!
After the festivities I went to an auction with my Papaw and scored some pretty cool stuff. I got an Earhart Wallstreeter suitcase, some roller skates, a Nassau child's iron, a vintage Oster Snowflake Ice Shaver, and some unopened Whitman flashcards! I knew I liked the items, but I had no real knowledge of them before last night. Now, after googling the items part of me is tempted to sell them. Especially the suitcase 'cause it was around $5, but it's selling for like $60! But...I really like what I got so I really want to keep it! Oh well, I'll figure something out :)
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day!

Wear it Two Ways
Shirt - American Eagle Outfitters (Thrifted) // Skirt - Talbots (Thrifted) // Shoes - Restricted (Similar) // Rings - Thrifted // Earrings - Gift from my sister // Nail Polish - Revlon Blue Slate // Balm Stain - Revlon Romantic
As much as I like the first version of this outfit better, the second one is much more comfortable. I spent the whole time this morning tucking my skirt back under the belt. I am, however, so happy to finally have a chambrayish shirt. I say chambrayish just because it's not quite denim and still a little bit dress shirt material. But, it's basically just want I wanted and it was from a thrift store....so I love it. I wore it the first way to church this morning, and the second way I will wear tomorrow.
I had so much camera trouble today! Since I went home for the weekend, I got to use my mom's camera...or so I thought. I kept feeding it new batteries and it would go through them in a couple minutes and then it just stopped working altogether. And I couldn't even get the pictures I took off the camera....yeah I wasn't happy. I had to start all over! And with my cell phone camera again :( Oh well. I wanted to take pics in the woods again too, but it was raining. Ya know, at least it wasn't snowing. So glad it wasn't snowing! I'm just glad that I have so much fun doing this blog, even if the pictures are crappy sometime :p
So...I got a wonderful surprise today. My aunt won a basket in a raffle and gave it to me! And....it was filled with cleaning supplies. Woo! I LOVE cleaning supplies. The basket smelled so so so good. I haven't even opened it yet, but I see a ton of awesome stuff in there :)
Bible reading and exercise done. Thanks for reading and I hope y'all have a wonderful day :)

When I See the Sun
Shirt - Body Central (similar) // Skirt - Talbots (Thrifted) // Tights - George // Shoes - Diva Lounge // Earrings - Big Lots (like 10ish years ago...) // Necklace - Handmade // Rings - Thrifted
Photos by CT
I really do hope the sun is here so stay! ...But who am I kidding, it's Ohio. The land where the sun never shines... Anyways, I really love this skirt! It's pretty old--I thrifted it a few years ago--but the color is right on trend! Unfortunately...I can almost guarantee that I won't be wearing this skirt with tights again. Even though I think it looks great with black tights :( The fabric clings to the tights! That combined with the wind (Akron's just really windy?) I spent the whole day holding my skirt hem down. It got a little irritating. On another note, I can't wait to wear this skirt in the summer without tights because it's really cute and comfortable!
So...if you caught my last post, I was majorly jonesing for a mug brownie! Well I finally got my mug brownie! And I'm watching Supernatural again while I write. Notice a pattern? Ok that was like the best mug brownie I've ever made!! Hmm.....maybe I should do an outfit inspired by supernatural?
What about you? Do you ever get fashion inspiration from TV shows?
