To The Fair!

Catherine and some Nubian goats at the Ashtabula County Fair

AAAHHH! This made me miss having goats sooo much! Haha, and you can still see some bruises on my leg from camp :p

Cows....so tasty.

American Heritage Girls? Awesome! Right after getting back from camp too!

I miss being here so much! I used to do 4H and I felt like I lived at the fair! So many memories.

Even though fair rides are kinda sketchy...I thought these pictures were pretty cool!

This. This was THE BEST ride at fair as a kid.

If I can find it, I have a picture of my and my best friend riding this when we were like 10. When I find it I will post it.

I used to show my miniature horse at the fair and now there's all new kids and all new horses! Although I did recognize these two :) Gracie and Rayne!

Another horse I recognized was Gala. She's actually my mini horse's sister!

Truth.

Gosh, it was so busy on Sunday!

Anyways, that was the 2013 Ashtabula County Fair! I was so tired from camp (and starting to get a little sick) that I almost didn't end up going. But, I love the fair. So I had to go. Tell me about your county or state fair! Any of you in 4H?

Oh and camp pictures should be up tomorrow! I hope...no promises. But at this point I'm planning on tomorrow!

"Uality" of Life

Remember that post I wrote awhile ago about only posting when I knew it was quality work? good, 'cause I don't either. I could blame it on my horrible memory (which is seriously a valid excuse), but unfortunately there is written proof somewhere on this blog of me saying all that stuff about quality vs quantity. Quality's a pretty dumb word anyway. And I can't say or even read it without thinking of Dilbert.

And when I think of Dilbert and "quality" I think of this

Yeah, well those are some random thoughts and a Dilbert cartoon for you before I go into making excuses about why I have less than awesome photos for you.

So....I may have...broken the camera I use (and it's not even mine!).

Well, not the camera per se...but perhaps the cord that's used to upload the photos I take with said camera to the computer I use for blogging. Yes, I am that coordinated. I don't even know how it's even possible to break the cord, but somehow I did it.

Of course I could blame the company for the poor "uality" of the camera cord which should have been able to hold up for at least a little longer. Or I could just...wait...that sounds like a great idea. I mean, since I'm already making excuses, it's not like I wasn't careful with the cord...I swear, it was an accident (That last part was for the benefit of my mom, and perhaps my life after she reads this. Mom, just so you know, dad's working on fixing the camera right now. Well, not right now. But he knows what to do to fix it! I know, I know...I'm a horrible daughter and I should never touch your camera again...except that you know I will as soon as it's fixed.)

So...since I have nothing else to post (I mean I have a couple posts saved for a rainy day, but I just used several of them while I was at camp...and, really, it's not raining.) Where was I? Oh yes, so since I have nothing else to post, here are just some random pictures I found on my cell phone! Yay for "uality"!

This is on the white board you see as soon as you walk in my kitchen!

I have a love for both glass cups and Marvel comics...and Star Wars. I also have several cabinets full of mugs....not pictured.

Still a bit messy, but stuff is coming together. And my refrigerator is not out in the garage anymore!

Saw this interesting chandelier at Goodwill. Also, those shoes sitting right next to the chandelier...They are now sitting in my closet.

We ate at Ted's Bulletin one night in DC. The entire time I kept thinking "Haaaaave you met Ted?"

A fast food salad bar. Yeah, I laughed pretty hard at that. Enough to justify taking a picture to share with y'all. I mean, seriously, McDonald's is right there. I'm sorry (I'm really not), but give me a choice between a sausage McGriddle and a salad? Yeah, I'm going with the McGriddle.

Maroon(ish) car directly(ish) in the center. Saw it on the way home from DC. Love it!

I guess I could try to call this one of those "Life Lately" posts...but yeah, obviously it's just a bunch of random photos. I have no more excuses for you. Just deal with this until the camera is fixed.

So Yeah, I'm Back

Dress - Corey P. (JCPenney) // Shirt - Bugle Boy (Thrifted) // Socks - Marc's // Shoes - Yessica (Thrifted)

I'm back! This isn't a scheduled post and I'm actually back from Camp Friedlander alive!

Well ok...these aren't camp pictures. But I'm so tired after camp that I'm probly not gonna post pictures 'til tomorrow or Monday. Camp went really well though, but I am a bit exhausted. It is SO nice to have clean bathrooms though and a bed to sleep in. Although...I did actually think that the sleeping arrangements were pretty good at camp. And it's weird that I keep looking up at the ceiling expecting daddy longlegs to drop on me. That. Was. Disturbing. I love being outdoors, but in my tent daddy longlegs kept crawling to the top and then just letting go and falling on my face!!! Only slightly disturbing when you're half asleep...

Anyways, I'm looking forward to sharing some pretty awesome summer camp stories with y'all! Oh and the last picture is of my brother, A...he must have been with me the day I took these pictures.

Hopefully I'm Still Alive

I Think a Post Title's Supposed to Be Here

Shirt - Body Central // Short - Faded Glory // Shoes - Steve Madden (Thrifted) // Earrings - Gift

No really, I actually published this post without a title at first. Ha, that's how observant I am. I also just have never really cared for post titles anyways...

So, obviously, I shouldn't have put off writing posts for while I'm at camp 'til the last minute possible. There's not too much writing in them, but I assure you they're awesome (If you can't tell that was extremely sarcastic). I'm so excited about going to Camp Friedlander tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to going to camp very sleep deprived already. Speaking of which...I should get some sleep now!

If you don't see anything from me the next week...well, my scheduled posts didn't post. Also, I won't be checking any other people's blogs until I'm back. Anyways...hope your week is great. (...hope mine is great too! We'll see!)

Girls In White Dresses

Dress - Modcloth // Shoes - Montego Bay Club (Payless) // Glasses - Charlotte Russe // Cardigan - borrowed from my mom...and I forgot to check the label before I gave it back // Lipstick - Revlon Sky Pink

No, I'm not wearing a white dress...just trust me, the title will make sense in a minute.

Don't know about you, but I had a pretty awesome day. I just got this dress from Modcloth and it is seriously my favorite dress ever. I mean it's not like the most flattering dress I own. But the pattern...the pattern's just so beautiful! I'm basically planning to wear this dress every day now.

On to less ridiculous reasons for this to be the best day ever. So this afternoon I went with my friend Rebecca to see The Wolverine...finally. I love any X-Men movie, but seriously, Wolverine is one of my favorite X-Men and probably one of my favorite Marvel heroes overall! Anyways, the movie was great! No spoilers here though. Go see it!

As if that wasn't enough after I got home from the movie I went with my mom and sisters to see a local production of The Sound of Music! (Does the title make sense now?) I haven't been to Rabbit Run Theater in so long, but it's a really fun place. It's a converted barn theater and they just put on wonderful plays. This was no exception. I actually knew some of the cast members so that made it very enjoyable, but either way I would have loved it. So. Well. Done. So yeah, favorite dress, The Wolverine, and The Sound of Music? Awesome Day.

So, I finally got an outfit post up! Not my best pictures...still I got an outfit post up! But, just as a heads up, I'm heading out to Camp Friedlander with some girls from my American Heritage Girls troop next week...so I'm not planning on blogging. I do, however, have some pictures that I'll probably schedule to post while I'm gone. Anyways, other than one last vacation in August, I'll be back to regular outfit posts soon!

Oh and I'm linking up with Passion for Fashion
